Hi All
I have noticed quite a few (very well done) Tigers models have been given DR markings.
Has any members made a "Tiki" model?
I have been buying bits and pieces and when ready to paint if no one else has already made a "Tiki" I think I will try and get my Tiger as close to "Tiki" as possible.
So is the DR more photogenic than any other panxer division?
Jim

Re: Das Reich
During the build up and battle of Kursk DR was the most photographed SS division however during the Normandy campaign SS SPzAbt102 was the least pictured Abteilung SS SPzAbt101 was the most photographed, as for Tiki not sure if a member of this site has done that yet

Hi Ice
Firstly may I say you have an amazing tank (S33/S23)
I did a bit of a search myself and found that "tiki" had two numbers 812 and 833 (it seems that the 8's were later changed to "S"!)
So if things go to plan I will try and make a reasonably acceptable Tiki (833)
Though I know it won't be in the same league as most of the Tiger's in this form
