Cooling air is drawn through the grilles closest to the turret into the radiators, then vented out of the louvres at the rear of the vehicle. Engine exhaust comes out armoured covers on the top rear sides.

Coming along in leaps and bounds now Alwyn, I'm very impressed with the way you can combine traditional modelling techniques (styrene and milliput) with 3D printing to create an accurate and truly unique scratchbuild. I love it!

Finished the rear of the hull apart from some milliput welds which will have to wait until tomorrow because my eyes are crossing

and here's the real thing for comparison from primeportal

That's all for tonight I think. :/

Carry on tomorrow with the hull sides.

Lots of tidying up, welds, and fiddly bits, all that's missing is the fuel tank brackets and fuel tanks

added a couple of pics on the chassis with the turret

and then it's on to the turret.

Just for once Lady Fortune was smiling on me... I thought I would have to print the fuel tanks but I thought I would check my scrap bin just in case there was some tube of the right dimensions. Blow me down if one of my suppliers didn't send out some brass rod and tube inside a plastic tube of almost the right diameter. It's within one mm so I'm not going to fuss over that.

I quickly printed off the end plates and mounting brackets and I'm good to go.

Hi Mick. thanks for that, yes the brackets and end plates only took about 80 minutes to print off so I count that as quick! The CAD work took longer!

Coming along quite quickly now.
