Thankl you Carl, I wasnt sure how that outline would come out either, I think I sitll need to touch up some of the brown camo. I could use some help with that I dot know how to do a wash or what is even requiered to do it. Ive seen it refrenced alot. It suppose to make the paint look worn?c.rainford73 wrote:Mr Raptor that really looks nice! The outline makes a big difference and once you tone it down with a wash it will really all come togetherI must admit I didn't think the outline would look the part on the early Tiger I but it works

Still debating if I should add any of the German cross decals I have from my other tanks, Also I forgot I need to repaint one of my commander figures and put him in a Tan color for the uniform.

Looks really good!
I'll ask a question out of pure curiosity....so looking for a mini history lesson...
Did the Germans hand paint their numbers on the tank like that? (I really don't know.)

I don't think they did. I just don't have any decals to add yet. I think the ones in Africa used red numbers on the side so I would need something like thatTread Flintstone wrote:Looks really good!

I think they may have sometimes, but also used stencils, and painted out the stencil gaps.

I'm loving the camo. Really looks great.
Take a look in the downloads section. There are some printable stencils, flags, maps and such. Might help you out. I've used printed flags on some of my tanks. Just print them on paper, then coat good with some clear flat, both sides. You can then use some thinned white glue and get them to drape over the surface.

Uses it when testing slot cars. He custom builds 64th scale tracks, like this one. . . .
So, how you getting on with your camo detailing?
