Parts Compatibility between 1/16th Vehicles

I loved the byte, Mick. It looked familiar, but took me a bit to figure it out!

I do know how real life can get in the way of the good stuff! Bet he logs back on and is wondering "What's all this lord oz and bytes crap?"

Haha. Posted an introduction, though I suppose it's not much of one.

Got my HL M4A3(105) yesterday. Turret was non-functional out of the box. Opened the tank up and one of the wires from the harness (black in ch9)was not seated into the connector all the way. Also the plastic channel that controls the gun elevation was rolling around in the hull..

But all that's fixed now. Thank you guys for the info above. Still looking for that resin M10 hull if it's still available!

But I have a T23 turret on the way. Taigen. I think an M4A3(76)W VVSS is going to be my first build. Might tackle something with the HVSS after that.

Oh. And there will be stowage.

Let's just say that I've got more boxes and crates, Jerry cans and .30/.50 ammo boxes than I know what to do with.

And I must have more.

And sandbags. I'm sourcing out 1/16th sandbags...

If you can't find the resin hull, you might try your hand at building your own. I did a M10 and a M36. Used some of the rear deck from the HL M4A3 and used card for the rest of the flat hulls. Was a fun build and you'd definitely could call it your own.

Uugh someone over on RCUniverse just told me the Taigen turret doesn't fit the HL upper hull.

Can anyone confirm? I just spent $130 on that stupid turret too.

What is the part number and where did you buy it from? I've mixed and matched Taigen and Heng Long parts for years. Maybe it's a different story with this part?

What I've learned as a member of this forum is better not say it won't work or can't be done because someone here will do it for sure

By the looks of it is assume it would work. Does anyone know the measurements of a Heng long turret ring compared to a Taigen product? I've swapped them many times in the past with no issues.
