IBU2U Upgrade Help

Post by c.rainford73 »

This post is not to discuss the details of the IBU2U ( I will do so on the IBU section at a later date) Plus I just love making and posting videos of my tanks on YouTube so that will have to wait.....but more importantly discuss the level of help I received from Ian ( Mr Tankbear) and Ivano from IBU.

I purchased the base version of the Ibu2U from MichealC on the forum and it is in my M1 abrams. I have decided to unlock the boards full potential and purchased the upgrade key from Ivano.

Mind you I'm not the best computer guy out thereImage (seriously I'm terrible) I fiddled with this setup today and after talking to Ian back and forth while working I finally had a Eureka moment and figured it out!

This all started in the wee hours of the morning and continued through the day.....

So here I am in New England USA and I have two men from across the pond and in Italy helping me with a $40 upgrade.

I'm now running 8 channels and programming as I write this.

Ian has always been there to help me as he has many others Image

I cannot tell you how grateful I am to Ian and Ivano and how excellent this new Ibu2U is!

Cheers

CarlImage

Hi Carl

Thanks for the compliment

Looking at picture I see your using a manual volume, one of the features of the IBU2u full option is volume via the radio, might as well use all the features ;)

The remote volume is a feature of the IBU2u full option, you don't need the RVC. Message me if you want to amend your order.
