I wonder if they will be the same as the RC ones internally, so that we can simply buy them and fit the RC kit of our choice?

It brings the price of a 1/16 R/C Tamiya Tank closer to my pockets than the present offerings,
The Tamiya electrics appear to have been eclipsed over recent years so the thought of buying a Tamiya R/C kit only to discard the inhouse electronics was ever the main stumbling block whereas now you can buy a Tamiya kit free of their own electrics and fit an IBU2/3 or an Elmod or a Clark or whatever.
When you look at the price of a full metal Taigen or Torro they are probably very similar to a stripped out Tamiya.
Shaun..
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Do these have gearboxes? I don't think so.

If they were like the old type static with gearboxes then I'd say worth a punt.
