If I were closer to home I'd offer to lease you guys some of my unfinished projects - Of course, you'd have to return them in a completed state... Image

Yeah I get the same thing. Too many tanks most of them unfinished etc...

I've found that if I put the tracks on unfinished projects and give them a light spray of paint they look 'finished' to her undiscerning eye. Then I can finish them as and when I like. If she recognises one of the 'finished' ones in bits in my shed, I can just say they need a fair bit of tweaking every now and then!

Works for me!

Cheers

Hi Chris Thats a good Idea but will have to cobble it so it will run she always sees me test running them so ,will have to get them to that stage ,its hard work when im trying to sneek stuff passed her whats that you bought on ebay she will say ,reply er er just a couple of bits to finish a tank ,why is the box 2ft long and 2ft wide and 2ft deep its another bloody tank isnt it .This is why Heng Long should sell there tanks in kit form the box would be alot smaller and when opened would look like the bits I said I needed. Will have to save up and get a Tamiya .

Yeah, the big boxes are a real givaway Pete!  :D :D :D
Maybe we could ask the vendors to dismantle them and send them in bits! Might cost more but it would be worth it to avoid the earache!  LOL! ;D ;D ;D

Cheers

lol @ you guys. This all sounds so familiar  ::) Tony even went so far once as to get something delivered to a neighbours house instead, but was scuppered when he forgot in his haste to unwrap it to hide 'the evidence' before I came home  :D :D :D

My better half is addicted to jewelry  :(  Hmm, expensive you might think, it is if you buy the real deal. I just keep plying her with costume  jewelry, nice and cheap ;D A lot cheaper than this hobby, she would never dream to ask the price that I paid. So now when the postman arrives with all that expensive ????? jewelry and add on Tank accessories, nothing is ever said. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Just like those early settlers, giving beads and mirrors to the Native American Indians !!!;D ;D  Now where can I get hold of some Impact tracks. LOL.

She better not get to read this though, or I will end up getting scalped !!  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
