1) You can only put bull dog tracks in a bull dog tank. Unless you make big modifications to your tank.lord.osborn wrote:Hi,
Brought my first rc tank and Google has failed me so cone to beg some info of you lot.
Prior details: tank is a heng long bulldog and my theme is Not SCALE (post apocalyptic so think mad max and tank girl)
1. Can I put any heng long tracks in any heng long.... Basically I want metal with rubber pads seen some for other tanks just not the bulldog
2. What 380 motors can I solder up to rx to give me a lil more top speed
3. Any easy ways I could rig up my dx8 g2 controller for it as seems silly me having tx for heli and one for tank plus any future rc's can be added to it and 8ch to play with, I have seen the clark boards but if there's other ways.....
4. I have the metal g.box but even with some lithium grease it's a noisy bloody thing so any way I can quieten her down a bit?
Thanks in advance

2) You can install 480 motors. Look for the red motors on tank army, those are fast as hell. Some boards dont support them.
3) If your bulldog works with the old board with christals, you can put an adaptor for using your spectrum radio. If your tank board is one of those "fake" 2.4ghz boards, then you need another hobby grade board.
4) If noise is really a concern, install cheap nylon gears. The cheap pot metal are noisy, and the brass a bit more, and the steel ones will make you deaf in no time.
