M36b2 Jackson

Post by c.rainford73 »

Here is my first go at a piece of American armor. I purchased this from Mr MichealC on the forum stripped it down and repainted everything. She is running Clark electronics. It has the Nick Aguilar M36 Resin turret kit.

It has installed servo recoil. The upper hull is from Vandra Model it's the M-10 resin set. I believe the resin upper and turret details from the castings are very realistic.Image The welds really look the part.

3D Shapeway grousers, a Heng Long lower but with Mato metal bogies and metal tracks.

I've added shapeways stowage accessories like the ammo boxes and helmets.

I installed a Tarr smoker. I've yet to finish the hull floor using some diamond plate pattern plasticard for that.

I painted the Jackson using model masters enamels and Vallejo acrylics. The washes are from mig Jimenez.

Thanks for looking.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Carl!
HahHah! A sane version of Crazy Joe! Very, very nicely done overall, my Friend. Do you intend to carry detailing any further, ( add an antenna, ropes, etc)? Beautiful paint and a sound runner. Following along!

Painless

Yes .... Thanks for checking in Mr PainlessImage I've ordered the antenna and a fire extinguisher and mounts. Ropes are not painted yet but are on my workbench. I've been using the model master enamels you recommended and have had very good luck with them so far.

I'm working on a styrene floor from some diamond plate pattern sheet I found similar to your setup to cover the void in the turret floor area as you look down into the fighting compartment.

Yes this is Joe's alter ego but he didn't fall far from the turret (tree) Image

She's a cracker mate well done. Especially like the tarps, may I ask where you purchased them?

Lookin' good, Carl. Nice to see something a little different, that 90 mm gun is an absolute monster.

This is a nice looking tank . Is the dirt just sprayed on paint? It looks very effective.
