Ok I may have answered part of my own question.

Rctank.de has the new Taigen board in a kit with the Taigen mother board

Is this the sound card that is compatible? If so how are you able to choose and setup sounds on it?

What did you need at least to use the Open Panzer TCB?
- Radio Control with SBUS or iBUS=> Recommendations at the Wiki: http://openpanzer.org/wiki/doku.php?id= ... radioguide
- 2x ESC => Recommendations at the Wiki: http://openpanzer.org/wiki/doku.php?id= ... tors:rcesc
- Soundcard => Recommendations at the Wiki: http://openpanzer.org/wiki/doku.php?id= ... tall:sound
I recommend Benedini - it's really plug in and play....
Videos for Radio Setup an moore availaible at the Open Panzer Youtube-Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNtlAi ... XQjclXq4RA

All other you will find at the excellent Wiki - You just have to read it.....

It would be possible to create an interface to the Beier USM-RC-2 but I have not done so yet. I wasn't sure how many people used it so I've never gotten around to buying one. I will add this to the To-Do list but it will not likely get done soon.

To use the Taigen sound board with the TCB you select "Taigen Sound Card" in the drop-down list on the Sounds tab of OP Config. Then you must also create a custom cable to attach it to the TCB. I have attached a crude photo below of this cable, but I will try to update the Wiki with something a bit more professional shortly.

I have not advertised the Taigen sound board because at least in America it has no yet been released. Erik from Imex Models sent me an early prototype of the Taigen sound card which is what I used to develop the TCB functionality. But I have not yet been provided a final production model and I don't know if Taigen/Torro have changed anything since then. You are free to try it but I can't guarantee it will work until I've had a chance to test the final Taigen board, and that won't happen until Imex/Taigen releases them.

The price is a pleasant surprise, that is about 50% of what I was thinking they would charge, so that is good news. Bear in mind that an authentic Arduino Mega 2560 would cost almost that, and you can see how good that price is.

Well done Luke, your efforts have paid off. :thumbup:

The Taigen sound cards will be tank specific, and you won't be able to change anything. Supposedly they're going to be cheap enough that it won't really be a problem. Once it's in a tank there's really not much reason to change stuff anyway, unless you're like me and want it to play Panzerlied as it parades through town, or you want to keep changing the user sounds (hey, I once saw a Tiger that could "Moo"). If you want the extra flexibility like you get with the Asp I would say go with the TBS.

Sorry, this old coot didn't get this. Can you please explain?

Does this mean none of the light functions work on the TCB?

MOSFET =metal oxide semi-conductor field effect transistor. I believe they can be used for switching electrical current. At this point my knowledge ends.

Exactly! The Lights is allways on.
I have mesure, the Signal come from the Atmel but the Mosfet did not switch.
The PCB is correct routed - the cause can only be the Mosfet.
Next week I will check it and replace a Mosfet by original Type.
