Standard yellow-grey will work OK (and it's cheaper).

scrape off the primer first then apply the milliput, if you don't all you are doing is putting the milliput onto paint which is a bad idea......

i bought some milliput off ebay 2 weeks ago still waiting, found a craft shop today that sells it one part seems to have a crust on the outside is this any good cause when mixed its not that soft
this is my first time useing milliput

It shouldn't have a crust on the outer surface. Were both bags sealed and air tight.

what you have bought is old stock milliput what you can do is either put the hard stick in your pocket for an hour or stick it in the microwave for about 20 seconds if it's not soft then try another 10 seconds until it softens the hard stick
