Apparently you can get your images back from your account

Good to know I can download the pictures. Unfortunately for many of us it's a case of hundreds or even thousands of images which I'm guessing (in my case at least) I don't have the time or inclination to go back through all my old threads and update the links to:(

All of my stuff is still there, nothing coming up that its locked.

well all my pictures are still here plus if some think dose happen I've also uploaded them to my facebook so I have backups

Been looking on the web, this tactic is causing mayhem, a lot of professionals have thousands of pics on there. They are calling this blackmail as no announcement was made, and unless they pay $400 their pic links are all gone, destroying their business. I can understand that they are hosting pics and paying for the bandwidth that no one is paying for, but they should have made it clear what their plan was, and given people notice of the service change and the date.

This is horrendous from a PR perspective.
