All mine will have gone. Hopefully the backlash is such that Photobucket change their minds

No need to keep linking threads. It'll be all the Photobucket hosted stuff, a big proportion of what's on here.

The thing I find annoying is that PB could have archived all the old pictures so they still work and have the new ToS apply pictures apply to new uploads.

Now there's going to be millions of forums/blogs etc that have been ruined.

What about all those images from people who've passed away and can no longer upgrade their accounts?

Yep it's world wide. I have well over a hundred photos posted between here and another modeling site and they all display PB stupid little "full tank" warning.

I have all my photos stored on my computer or some other form of mass storage so my pics are safe. However the time it will take to load them to another hosting site then link the correct photo back to the original modeling thread will be huge!

I guess I'm lucky. Just checked my tiger 1 thread and all my photos are still there! I don't have many pictures on their site though, and I certainly won't be uploading any more. It does say in their terms and conditions that 3rd party posting is only allowed if you have a paid account. Does anyone know if this is new or has this always been the case.

I used PB once briefly.
Don't see any advantage of it. Don't need it.

Feel sorry for you guys that have put a lot into it though.

If you're on a mobile it was much easier to upload and link than mess about with resizing and uploading here.

I always wondered what would happen if Photobucket did something like this, well, now it has and it has had the effect that I knew it would. I stopped using it a long while ago just in case. I just take pics on my £45 smartphone, plug in the USB, log into RCTW, browse to the pics I want on the phone, and upload them, I have the phone set to 640x480 and high quality so they appear on the forum perfectly. Its quicker than uploading to PB, and then linking to them.

If I had a wireless or bluetooth card in the pc it would be even quicker.
