Good evening, I bought a set of the Valuegear cast stowage. It came in the mail today and I am very pleased with it. Crisp, detailed and no air holes or bubbles in any of the pieces. Among the many types is a large rolled up tarp and another, different crate that I am going to use on Joes Command. Tonight, I was on the road so no building time but tomorrow or Friday will see some free time to have fun. As for cordage, after I 3M tape the separate pieces into one block, I will use some of the scale rope I have to 'tie' it down. That and some chain up front as was used on 'Maxene'.

Today, I went back to the M36B1 and parceled down what pieces of the new stowage I would be using and got them into spots where I think they fit. They will be painted and 3M tape mounted once the Schumo pieces are in place. I painted and mounted a new Tommygun for the Commander of 'In The Mood' tonight as well. The 1/18 scale one had gone missing after the move so I rounded up a new 1/16 scale one in metal that came with a nice magazine pouch. Pics:

What a magnificent pair of AFV builds, Painless! They present several stowage ideas, and the thoughtfulness you put into what/where/how you emplaced them is worthy of consideration by people who are motivated to follow your lead. I spent a quiet Friday night painting up the rest of the stowage. I managed to get some of the rear pieces such as the ammo cans and a couple of bedrolls secured together with the excellent, clear 3M tape. The two color identity panel piece on the turret roof was secured as well but everything else is still just sitting in place awaiting Schumo parts installation. More fun tomorrow or Saturday. Pics:

Mr Painless I noticed the large lips on the stowage chocolate box. Did Mr Joe have any say in its design..... And those nylons!!!! : crazy: he's a strange bird.
