Looking good Rocketman remember they were in band of brothers if you are looking for more refrence

Freak! I like that dozer blade, makes the Sherman look nice and chunky. The HVSS actually suits that.

So when are you starting the r/c 1/16 LCVP then?

if you need something to go on the front, why not have a crack at a flail tank? could even try getting the flail to run to that would be very novel :)

when the mato sherman arrive i am think i would build this variant .

after a break of 2 years ( because i have build 14 sherman for customers in that year ) i am "hot" to convert a sherman tank.

s'funny you should mention that. As i was building this I remembered that they were in episode 2 and got the dvd out. The amazing this is that this gave me the fourth variant on the funnel design that I had found for the wading trunks( not including the british type!) On BOB the engine deck funnel is twice as wide as the rear one, where on the majority of the pictures it shows and standard funnel with an adaptor on the deck/or rear trunk ( like mine)  to make up the width . Anyway I cut down the funnels last night, cocked them up and recut them so should have piccies Monday (ish)

Decided to redo the uprights after all and Im glad that I did as they came out far better. Just a bit more filling to do then we can start the paint job....
