More and more, I'm drawn towards the world in 1/6th format, and you're partly responsible for that That said, I don't think I would diversify as much as you have. I'd just stick to boring old tanks, I think. Still, MG 42s, and other weapons, look more impressive in this scale as well; but maybe that's because these ageing peepers can see them more clearly
So here's a bit more on 1/6 detail for you, Roy. I was gonna PM this because I didn't want to hijack the thread, but then I remembered it's my thread so what the hell, eh?
Still not done, but I wanted to get at least a couple of outdoor shots before I lost the light and the weekend ended. I'll get more stills and maybe a video once I get all the gear loaded and tied down. I think I'm going to approach this as if I were a German soldier and they gave me a bicycle, so what would I put on it? Guys in the field always add their own stamp to any kind of equipment, even a light tank destroyer like this. Maybe I should call this one an ultra-light tank destroyer.
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!
The bike looks amazing- nay-the whole ensemble looks amazing outdoors, Gary! As for the weaponry, with my access to the Luger and P38 I can confirm that the models are simply spiffing You also have the MP40 there, with the Mauser K98 (standard battle rifle). The anomalous sniper rifle looks like a Walther G43 (Gewehr43..later Karabiner 43). It's not a model you see very often, but when I visited East Germany in 1988- the year before the Wall came down- I'd swear some of the East German border guards had them... (sort of Wehrmacht surplus, I'd guess). The Walther was 7.62 semi-automatic, and looks like fun. I only have a Walther Air Rifle perhaps I can persuade the Swiss branch of the family to acquire one but full-size, even though I'm drawn to 1/6.
Looks like you have the 1/6 bug badly. It's definitely catching

You tried to be "that -guy" Mr 52 !!
Give ya the tip..............if I was to be that guy, I would 'requisition' a Zundap or BMW motorcycle or sidecar unit !!
Taking my 'Fausts' into combat using the "On yer B-Bike G- Granville' would not have worked for this kid
Very well executed mate, certainly gets my vote for quirky and clever
I've been playing around with the stuff packed on the bike and I wanted to get some good outdoor photos but the weather isn't cooperating so I just played around a bit with a few indoor shots, plus what I took previously.
...I've just noticed the crate of booze on the trooper's bike, Gary. All I can say is, it wouldn't have been a good idea try to aim a panzerfaust after a skinful of looted French wind and brandy ...but it would have been fun, very briefly
