Excellent as always Painless.
I always find it a little intriguing how these tanks in particular really come alive with the addition of stowage. I know it's mainly because what's on the inside of the bigger ones gets to be on the outside of smaller ones - although this doesn't seem to be the rule in all cases.
Regardless, it looks great and makes builds like this so much more personal and interesting I think.

Good morning, Gentlemen,
Herman! The paint is all rattlecan Model Masters Flat black ( applied with a hairy stick to the link belt ) Model Masters Gloss copper sprayed initially then brushed with Model Masters Gloss brass for highlights. Tips of the rounds are Black Sharpie Marker and Model Masters Gloss red for the tracer round tips. The bucket is just hanging there for the time being til' I discover where I really want it to go. It's a metal bucket from An-Bri-RC so brush on Model Masters 'Wood' then carefully clean off with a small file over the metal strapping and you have a nice wooden bucket. ;o) Those are the San Juans to the West of us. They are a lot closer than the picture hints at. We are surrounded by three mountain groups here in our little valley in the Southern Rockies. 360 degrees of peaks. I'm working on finishing this one. I just received an email from Robert at ETO that the Post Office is unable to deliver his Schumo shipment to his warehouse so he had to reorder. Another spell of waiting but at least the shipping will be expedited this time. ( hopefully )

Doc Phibes! I could not agree more. Little pieces that we cannot but help to have associated with our own likes and dislikes. The psychological aspect of tank building. The 'Crazy Joe' we all knowingly or unknowingly nurture.

The detailing is amazing. I wonder though, when or where Joe lost his legs. I guess it has to do with either wine or molotov?

Soeren, Shhhh! Don't tell Joe his legs are missing. He usually takes em' off when he's in the turret. Sometimes it's hard to find them again what with his glass eye an all.

Another Monday and the wait for Schumo continues, possibly for another two weeks. So today I picked up the crew packs and did a modification of the mount system I had worked out for the bags on 'Maxene'. The epoxy and milliput need to sit and cure so I will get back to weathering and paint when they are ready. Pics:

Early and therefore _super_ long day today. I spent a couple of hours doing a pinwash on the bags, stowage and vehicle in general. It will be modulated by washes and weathering before all is done. Pics:
