Although I did this a while ago decided to take pics of it as it was found abandoned after running out of gas.
Its a HL that I converted to use HL main gun recoil and flash unit.

Re: HL KT
Yes, a tastefully decorated KT.
Was it based on one abandoned in the Ardennes/Bulge campaign? While the original may have run out of gas, I imagine this is fully charged for a spot wargaming..

Re: HL KT
The camo is as close to the available pics of the real 204 as recovered by the US. The removed fenders and missing items on the right side are also seen in those pics. There is only one pic (a very small close up showing the tank on route) that shows it with no damage or missing items but it is so small it really only shows a bit of the right side from ground level with the Commander as the pics focus point.
The rear turret hatch took a bit of work to do but when done and the hatch is opened I like how it shows how thick the turret armor was. Opening up front hull hatches was pretty easy. Still may open up the main engine hatch on the deck rear
.
Normally I display it with crewmen in the hatches and turret and hull mgs in place as it may have appeared as it tried to escape the town before it ran out of gas .
It is battle ready against other HL tanks. The apple plugs into the commanders copula in the spot HL had molded in. It does seem that originally it was going to be offered in a ir battle version before HL decided to no longer use their system on new releases and stick with bb shooters only.
Glad you all like the way it looks

Re: HL KT
Excellent work Mr G
Is it the HL "Pro" model ?
I have a pro version and am disappointed with the operating side of it, the motors aren't man enough for the metal tracks when you want the tank to turn (at realistic speeds or demented dalek speeds).
The suspension is also poor in comparison to the Torro version with all metal wheels, tracks and lower hull.

Re: HL KT
No this is the straight plastic version and without any added weight it works quite well. The suspension is very compliant and the stock HL gears work well even at slow speeds although you have to be careful not to give it to much stick during turns or climbing over objects as it tends to overreact speed wise.
May someday get a set of 3/1 gearboxes which should solve that problem.

Re: HL KT
Thanks. After looking at available B+W pics of this groups tanks HL had the camo pattern pretty much correct as it came out of the box. Just added the dots and unit insignias that the originals had and weathered it a bit that added a flat clear coat of enamel paint.
