Some helpful information there Adrian, thanks for sharing. I've been wondering where I should look to start, and which CAD programs are most similar to the ones I already know.

I'm very new to 3D printing myself and It as helped me out so I passed it on. LOL

Just to note, the DesignSpark tool is actually cut down SpaceClaim. If you're a student you can also download ANSYS SpaceClaim for free; please follow the installation instructions EXACTLY and no, I'm not doing support for it! :D
