Now that I'm exploring one sixth scale I'm mad at my sister all over again. Right after I left to join the army (don't any of you dare ask if it was union or confederate) she had a little garage sale and offed my extensive collection of G.I. Joe stuff, including the six wheeled ATV, the helicopter, fighter jet, and the Jeep with cannon and searchlight trailer! That stuff is worth a small fortune these days. I even had the space capsule!!

:'( :'( :'(
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Just think, - if you had bought them all, what a profit you could have made. Could have bought another tank with the proceeds.

I was wondering whether you were with the Right Honourable the Lord Cornwallis or the treacherous Mr Washington :haha: :haha:
As to Garage sales I joined the service and my Mother sold my Bicycle (Lovingly built with my own two hands) and a full unmarked boxed set of every American car of the 50s and 60s in the "Corgi" line up.
If I thought of their present value I would probably cry.
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
