H/L T34-85
I received a wonderful gift from my dear friend Gary, MAX-U52 for making it through engineer school sort of a graduation present a Heng Long T34-85! I've been so busy with work today was the first time I've been able to even take it out of its box! So I got it all put together and I'm waiting for the battery to charge so it's just sitting here and my wife asked me what the writing on the tank meant, I told her it was written in Russian cause it's a Russian tank. So what does it say she replied and I have no clue! LOL! Can anyone help? It has CTA what resembles a J then a backward N &HA! CTAJNHA! Is as close as I can type on this keyboard.
Anyone?
Anyone?

Checked with my son in law. He sez that it reads "Stalina". He's not sure why it has an extra A at the end of Stalin.
Hope this helps.

Cool Bill thanks! The extra "A" is odd in that case.

Re: H/L T34-85
Hey for those with this tank is the exhaust supposed to come out from the grills behind the turret and not on the rear where it should be?
Re: H/L T34-85
Comes out of the back on mine - the deck ones are intakes & should be solid on the model.

Ok so I need to take it apart then, no biggie. Thank you and Mr.Gun-ner for clarifying this for me.RobW wrote:Comes out of the back on mine - the deck ones are intakes & should be solid on the model.
Now which vents are you saying should be solid? The smoke is coming out from the 2 grills behind the turret on the engine deck just to the inside of the grab irons on both sides.

Opened it up and both exhaust tubes were broken off the smoker. The smoker is also just sitting in there it's not bolted down? Odd? So I'll fix the exhaust pipes no big deal. I think I'm going to leave this one all stock seeing how it was a gift and I do not want to mess anything up.
