Picked up the T-72 today.

The top is almost a straight swap with the HL T-90 upper. There's a couple of tags inside that need cutting off and the idlers parts (circled). This'll make it a lot easier to convert it to R/C.

Hey Woz,

Does the kit comes with any metal parts at all other then PEs ?

No just the PE.

Noticed that the hull has screw posts and a space for a speaker-

Thanks Woz. My understanding is that Heng Long will be releasing it as an RC. The turret ring is the same as the WSN/Trumpeter as well as the speaker location mount. My guess is actually it will be release under the Torro brand perhaps ?

It's good that the model kit manufactures are making these kits with plans for future RC releases.

Doesn't seem that long ago a new 1/16 model was an annual event. Now there seems to be a new one every few months.
