Sd.Kfz.164 Nashorn Panzerjager

Post by lmcq11 »

Hi,

Here are some pictures from my Nashorn build that you may have seen under "Juckenburg Nashorn" in the Other Builds section. I just completed it and you can read and see the whole story of this build in that section, with tons of pictures. This is a modified Juckenburg kit that might be available soon again through MK Modellbau.

This is a very difficult kit. If you have no experience with resin conversion kits, I suggest you try simpler conversions first. Accuracy being important to me, I needed to redo and scratch build many parts, including most of the interior. It was a lot of work, but extremely enjoying.

Bring on the Hummel !!

Regards, Louis

I enjoyed your build thread immensely and read every post. Your model is absolutely beautiful and one of the most interesting I have chanced upon in some time. Congratulations!

Whatever trials and tribulations you found, the end result is outstanding.

A truly spectacular result Louis, it's unrecognisable from the Juckenburg you started with. The subtle weathering really highlights the detail work you've put in.
