Hello from the good old USA!
Hello my name is Nick, I'm am currently a sophomore in high school. I have been into tanks for a while and probably will for years to come. I currently only have one tank, a 1/20 scale model of a Ferdinand tank destroyer i made in our schools metal shop. It is a static model and inst very good. It has a ton of flaws i believe it just gives it character. I have been looking for an RC for a while now I just haven't found the right one.

Good morning,
Welcome to the Forum. Great job on the all metal Ferdinand! You should give MATO Tanks a call and see if they are hiring in the US. ;o) Luna knows that they could use the expertise.

I recollect when I was at school In the woodwork class I made a stool and in the metalwork class I made a brass "Walnut cracker".
I think nicks 1/20 scratch build "Ferdinand" could be the start of a thread on the things we made in school.
Shaun.

Hi Nick, and welcome aboard. I like your ferdinand very much. Using chains for tracks is very innovative. So what kind of tank are you interested in for your first RC tank? Do you have any interest in building an Abrams?
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!
