Tamiya Pz4 J and the Tamiya Jagdpanzer Lang Build

Post by Pcomm1 »

Thank you.

It is been several years since I have worked on my favorite IR RC subject matter; WWII German Panzers.
For 2017, I have in the beginning build stages a Tamiya Lang and a Torro Jagdtiger.

Currently, I am working on an amazing Daryl Turner Designed 8 channel Gepard Flakpanzer assembly & paint for a friend and way later in the year I may complete my ELMOD Abrams.

Anyway, here is a Lang sneak peak, WIP, and it is another Daryl Turner collaboration build.

A written design and parts brief will follow. The Lang concept IR, RC build goal is to make the model much less awkward to play with and service.

Enjoy, John

Trunnion Setup: Pz4 J & Jadpanzer Lang Builds.

Post by Samurai Modeler »

Tamiya was very clever with the Jagdpanzer Trunnion, Recoil, Elevation and Traverse Setup.

It is nice and new, thus it is a shelf queen for now, a real downside.

Can't bring myself to play with it!
