Channel 6 (usually a potentiometer on the transmitter used for flaps) now becomes a three-position switch
to play three different sound effects. "

So that is how I had it. Using 6 channels you cant start the motor with the sticks, and you need to press a switch in your radio that sends a +100 on channel 5.

Probarbly the problem that our college has is that he has plugged 4 channels and the dip switch is on the 6 channel mode. That explais why he can not switch on the tank with the stick.
Hey, thank you all for the instructions. In the meanwhile I buyed a servo to checkout the channels ...
Thanks

ps Hey Rad, do you have a channel lay out ?
Ch1 on IBU2 pro to go on receiver position ... and so on ?

Well I've learnt something new! Thanks!
Think I discovered something similar when dipping my toes into IBU2 pro waters for the first time. After faffing around for ages, I discovered the full functionality only came with the fifth servo connection. I don't use the sixth, as..having got the damned thing funtioning properly (even the Taigen airsoft barrel recoil)..I was reluctant to customise it further; just in case... :eh:

I was just having simular problems and needed to flip dip switch 6 on and used a 5 channel radio. With a 4 channel it would not drive the motors because I couldn't turn the engine on.

This was in the manual "The PRO version supports 5 or 6 channels from the receiver, this choice can be made by the dip-switch
n ° 6." Guess that means not 4...

Incorrect, the ibu2 pro works fine with 4 channels.

If you can explain the setup for 4 channels that would be great. I'd like to reuse my stack of futaba 4 channels.

Hey Rusty, exactly the saw as the base, the left stick down and right will still work to turn the engine on and off, down left should be momentum and up and right I think is lights on and off.

10-4, I'll give it a shot after Danville. I don't have much time as I'm packing tonight.

I have 2 IBU2 Pros and 2 IBU3s. So far one 3 is being a headache. This pro was probably all me, but its working now and I gotta go shoot some tanks. So for now it's staying as is.

I do want to convert the Jagdpanther 2 i just finished to either pro or 3. The Clarke is nice (its the JT board) but that dang elevation ^ and <>.... uggh.

Do you have a programmable radio? I've mapped all my clarks functions onto the buttons and sticks. Is it the tk60?
