Looks great, Carl, and you're definitely right about the natural light. I can't wait to see some video of it in action. How does she run?
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Carl, I noticed in the pics that you posted that the barrel is in max recoil position so maybe during transit it got push in. When you fire it up the servo should go back to normal position but just make sure you keep an eye on that so that there is nothing jamming the barrel if it needs to go forward again. You might want to give it a little "help" just in case it got pushed past the angle of the linkage arm.c.rainford73 wrote:Hi there Mr MaxMax-U52 wrote:Looks great, Carl, and you're definitely right about the natural light. Michael C has a few YouTube videos of it in action
you know me.... Once I have time a video or two will post
P.S. Make sure you remove the crew before lifting the upper.

Will do Mr Michael C
I will remove the crew once she is ready to be fired up. Ive already opened the hull ( with the crew removed as I was working on some touch ups) The hull locking mechanism is top notch. Very very secure. I will make sure the recoil servo mechanism is free before I attempt to actuate it.
Kind regards
Carl

Yeah I am a bit obsessive with hull locking mechanisms, especially when you have to scratch build them........
