I feel with you, how many of those did you plan to attach by the way? :P
Still have to solder about 20 pins and chains for my various brackets on the two Panthers.

22 of the damn things
They were really tarp lashing points, but once in field, they were at times used to secure tree branches for camouflage.
I have the Pilzen and the tow cable clamps to sort, then its primer.

You are talking of Pilsen, the town in Czech Republic the origin of beer itself, where the infamous Pilsener Urquell is made? Interesting. In your photograph of the real tank it shows tool clamps on the sides, did you plan this as well?

Pilzen are the casemate sockets for an overhead crane frame used in maintenance.I will try to find a picture.

Yes, the cable clamps on both sides will be fitted.
Im just trying to get hold of some now.
Mine will have the actual cables in read-use condition, so the clamps will be empty.
Tools etc will be fitted with near enough clamps.
I might try making proper wooden handles for them though.

The tarp loops turned out ok.
Again, not exactly the same shape as the real ones, but a bit more practical to both make, and use.

Onto the rear deck vent armour now, not 100% decided on running them or not, but I will make them anyway.

Got a few spare detail bits coming out of the woodwork from NBRCTC members, so will have the pick of all necessary final details with which to decide on.
Got a familly function tomorrow, & am Mr Mum all day today, so I doubt I will get primer on by tomorrow night. :'(

No camera at home just now, pics when I can.

Some pics.

Had a visit from the tow cable fairy yesterday...............(Sorry Mr Reaper-but you are a scary fairy !) so I could continue the outer fit up.
Cut the plastic cables from the clamps & drilled out the middle. As my proper cables will be in ready-use position, the clamps can be empty.

Made up the rear deck armour, but not entirely decided on if to use them or not.

Mr Herman so many little bits and pieces of well designed brackets and spacers. I for one am a big fan of the metal shields over the rear deck but that's just my preference. I see so many jagdtiger builds even in smaller scales without them so it's particularly a treat when they are well represented and installed as you have the ability to do

Cheers Mr Rainford, there is a lot to this thing , more than I thought.

Miss almost 5 said this evening
"Daddy, you have been doing stuff to that Tank for ages and it still looks the same"...............

Quick tidy up & hit with the hair dryer.............then outside for primer/topcoat base.
I need progress.

And now I have it.
Still to do the barrel support, and try a mudguard, but its smelling great in red oxide.
Pics in the morning when I can get a camera.

Thanks little one- point taken. :problem:

Herman my little girl who is seven going on 18 loves spending time me in the workshop and is one of my greatest critics yet she does have some wonderful words for me from time to time! Now my son who is 3 wants to be with daddy and his shop so he can sit next to me and mold his play dough as he watched me tinker away! Such wonderful stuff.... enjoy your build and the little miss
Tanks alot....
