Thanks Rocketman...is the magenta a clear paint or regular pigment? I received my resins today and they are frosty clear so I'm thinking I paint on the back side magenta and black on the two sides. Wish I had extra to experiment with. Does that sound right? I sure sound like a newby at this...oh, I am!

Rocketman, what tool are you using to cut you materials with? Like I said, I'm new at this. I usually work with wood steel or aluminum. Plastics is a new medium for me. Also, what glue do you recommend?

1) the magenta scope infills are mine and will he ready soon
2) super glue or revell contact adhesive depending on the job
3) 10 a scalpel blade. Forgive me if you already know this but to cut plasticard do you know you only score it then snap it apart? To get a super straight line when joining two parts join with a slight overlap and sand back once glue is dry.

Keno, I still have some of the film I used for my armored glass and I bet if you glue that over your clear resin blocks with clear canopy cement they would look great. If you want some just PM your address and I'll send you some, no charge. Well, you have to promise to post photos when it's done, but it won't cost you any money.

And Keno, since you say you're new to plastic I can give you one tip, and that's to be careful with super glue and clear parts. I'm not sure about clear resin, but with clear styrene most types of super glue will make it fog up. Does anyone know if it does the same to clear resin?
