just an observation ....

but is the hl jagdpanther gun mantle the wrong shape ? looks too stubby ? that is should it not be longer up the gun barrel ..if you get my drift ?

here,s a pic of the real thing but i do think the H/L just doesn't look right somehow, i took the other pic form one of the guys builds ( if thats ok ) and the saukopf looks a bit high and a bit steep.......

looks that way, maybe some alteration of the HL version by cutting some of the top off and using milliput or something to get the correct slope/shape may be needed?

I thought that the HL saukopf looks too tall. I wondered if they have done this to hide the wires going to the LED. The exhaust pipes seem a but tall too so I will be shortening mine.

Dam and blast, don't notice that, think I could be out with the dremal this weekend and some filler!

what is your opinion on this cut 8mm off top of mantlet then shaped and filled this any good

that looks so much better .. will also cut 8mm off mine too ......

i wounder if any one going to produce the early mount cover ??? that would be very very cool

Hi Chris

I use medium super glue, spread on then a dab with an old tooth brush, keep at it until it just starts to set. Don't try to do the lot in one go.

Tip do this outside!
