Just thought I'd introduce myself, my names Dan (more commonly known as 'OHO') and I'm 25, in N.E, UK.
Been hankering after a good tank for quite some time, many years ago I had a cheap Abrams, unfortunately, it arrived not working, so that put paid to that, I never got to use it.
Anyway I just thought I would introduce myself, because I will own and run my own tank... Eventually! so hello!

I'm certainly no stranger to RC lol, so yes I understand it's an addicition, to which, I'm glad there is no cure because it's the best hobby in the world... Well, I say that now while I'm not stood throwing knives into tree rounds (also an awesome hobby lol)
Have to say, your collection looks mighty mighty impressive!
I want a Tamiya for the quality... And then a cheaper one that's worth buying but more for practicing on, while I've had many scalers, in 4x4 and 8x8 form, I've yet to really have a go at weathering and such, so it will be a good learning curve and one I don't want to bodge up on a 900quid+ tank lol.
May very well have plenty of questions to ask as well.

Hello Dan greetings from the United States Yes I'd say we are a kind ( very helpful) and strange( in my case) bunch of fun people with excellent knowledge of the hobby.

I learn every day so don't be afraid to ask any questions and have fun looking around.

Have been looking around and to be honest I am in awe of some of the models you guys have built.
I thought I knew what scale details were with some of my RC4WD scalers, but holy crap lol, this is a whole new level!
It will certainly test me, which I look forward to
