Howdy!

Post by Oh How Original »

Just thought I'd introduce myself, my names Dan (more commonly known as 'OHO') and I'm 25, in N.E, UK.
Been hankering after a good tank for quite some time, many years ago I had a cheap Abrams, unfortunately, it arrived not working, so that put paid to that, I never got to use it.
Anyway I just thought I would introduce myself, because I will own and run my own tank... Eventually! :haha: so hello!

Welcome to the Forum. If you are looking for advice, you will probably get as many different answers as posts in reply. We are a friendly (if slightly crazy) bunch. Be warned, however. This is an addictive hobby for which there is no known cure. Just read all my signature!

I'm certainly no stranger to RC lol, so yes I understand it's an addicition, to which, I'm glad there is no cure :D because it's the best hobby in the world... Well, I say that now while I'm not stood throwing knives into tree rounds (also an awesome hobby lol)
Have to say, your collection looks mighty mighty impressive!
I want a Tamiya for the quality... And then a cheaper one that's worth buying but more for practicing on, while I've had many scalers, in 4x4 and 8x8 form, I've yet to really have a go at weathering and such, so it will be a good learning curve and one I don't want to bodge up on a 900quid+ tank lol.
May very well have plenty of questions to ask as well.
Thanks for the warm welcome :)

Hello Dan greetings from the United States Yes I'd say we are a kind ( very helpful) and strange( in my case) bunch of fun people with excellent knowledge of the hobby.

I learn every day so don't be afraid to ask any questions and have fun looking around.

Have been looking around and to be honest I am in awe of some of the models you guys have built.
I thought I knew what scale details were with some of my RC4WD scalers, but holy crap lol, this is a whole new level!
It will certainly test me, which I look forward to :)
