Hi, I am battling with my Nashorn fitted with a Clark TK22. The tank goes fine in forward/reverse/turn right/turn left BUT it won't spin. I have checked the mixer mode and it is set to mixer mode 1. The transmitter is a Turborix FS-CT6A six channel but I haven't changed any setting (because I wouldn't know how to). nI have changed the battery to a fully charged one - no difference.
Is there something simple that I need to reset/change?
Everything else is working fine so I am at my wits end!
Possibly adjust your transmitter limits? Sorry if it's teaching you to suck eggs but are you moving the stick full to the side then forward or back? Ie tamiya style rather than henglong.
Although I am pretty certain that the TK boards come with superspin enabled, it may be that yours has it disabled. The setting can be switched on and off via the remote, though you do of course need an IR receiver plugged in to be able to do it. The Clark site shows how to make one with a single receiver, block connector and 5 pin plug. If anyone at your club has a Clark with IR, you can always park them next to each other and plug their 5 pin into your board, and use a remote that way.
Hi Rob, thanks for the advice. I eventually bought a sony programmer and have updated the mixer mode to 1 but superspin is not happening. The tank does turn in place just using one track so it's working after a fashion. I'll persevere with it and probably take it to the MAD meeting tomorrow to see if anyone has any advice..
