Tiger 1 questions

Post by lifeofbrian »

I have a new upper hull and turret from forgebear, I need to know what these parts are for. I know that the 2 parts on the right are mine launchers for the rear, but what are the 2 metal bits and those other 2 plastic parts on the left for?

Also, while I'm here, what are the two holes on the front?

No idea about the things in the first photo. I believe the holes at the front were for lifting, used in the manufacturing process, but I am sure someone will have a definitive answer.

I'm pretty certain the holes by the front mud guards were for a small crane anchor for lifting the huge drive sprockets on and off. :)

Thanks for the information. I've often wondered what these holes were for. I've got a metal hoist for one of these in my parts bin. Time to paint and assemble itImage
