Howdy, from Michigan!

Post by ToXic U4ia »

Wanted to say hi and introduce myself,

I've wanted an RC tank for years. Been into the RC hobby for more years than I care to admit. LOL Mostly flying helicopters and recently quadcopters. Until now, I purchased a Henglong Walker Bulldog with S&S. Man, it's fun!
Put in the 3W Taigen speaker, very nice improvement. Have some metal road wheels and tracks ordered.

Hey Darren, welcome aboard. just where in Michigan are you? I'm close enough to the Detroit city limit to hit it with a rock. Think Five Mile & Telegraph, if that means anything to you. There are a few other tankers here in the Great Lakes State, and they meet a few times each summer, usually in Hazel Park. I think you made a good choice for your first RC tank, and I'm sure your prior RC experience will come in handy. I'll use any excuse I can to trot out the video of my M41, which has been converted into what we like to call the M-41-AA, or anti-aircraft variant. @) @)

But I still have the stock hull top so I can turn it back into a Bulldog in moments.

When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!
