Hi from Scotland

Post by wunderwaffe »

Hi folks,

I've just joined the forum. Although I am primarily a RC Yacht and Model Railway person, I've recently picked up an early production Heng Long Tiger 1, in need of a bit of TLC. Although I build 1/35 plastic tank kits, this is my first RC tank.

Hi Tiggr, and thanks!

N gauge, UK transition era for me. I currently have a 17.5 by 9ft garage soon to be converted with the substitution of the up-and-over door for bricks and windows.

I've always fancied a G-scale garden layout, radio-controlled....but unfortunately there are a lot of things I fancy! So, some things have to give! :lolno:

Greetings, Scott, from the Highlands! No man should have to sacrifice his play area, for a bricks and mortar conversion :O (expanding family?). At least a tank runs on different tracks..and doesn't need so much space.
That said, this evil addiction can pack every available inch of space with stuff..if it's left untreated :lolno: :D

Hi 43rd, the best treatment is to give in - order more - build more. It's fun!

:D I can just imagine a dyed- in- the- wool addict emerging from his workshop-cum-mancave after years of 'giving in'! ;) Here he is, and he's only just noticed that the family has moved out, while the house is full of dust and cobwebs :lolno: !
