Panzerfrau British commander
Panzerfrau British commander
Hey folks, a little word of warning on this one, bought off eBay's last week, advertised as 1/16 scale however I would estimate closer to 1/13 or 1/14. Compared to my verlinden figures (which are 120mm so overscale) he's enormous, I understand people vary in size but he just looks daft, even in Munich Sherman (in the Cromwell it's worse!)

Wasn't 'Captain Hurricane' something of a giant?
I recall seeing him getting stuck in a tank turret with one of his 'raging furies".. (even though he was supposed to be a Commando
)
The figure actually looks credible.Judging by the pic, he almost fits in the Sherman... although I expect he looks a size too bulky in the flesh, so to speak..
Pity.

Re: Panzerfrau British commander
Just checked Ebay out, and the only 1/16 Tank Commander I could find (at a appreciable £50) is a Godin (Dean) model, hand-painted by 'Steg'. Very nice.
Thinking about size though, 120mm comes out to around 6ft 3in, which would have been pretty tall by 1939-45 standards.

Mine are a touch smaller than verlinden. For you guys in Britain and EU shop at Forgebears new site for the unpainted version at a very reasonable $19.89 pounds and for NA I sell mine at $18.50 directly or through ebay...

I would still buy it and use it, better than the unpainted HL tank commander that comes with the Sherman
