Hi guys,
Looking for opinions.
Are the electronics and gear train provided with the Tamiya Leopard 2A6 suitable for operating a fully upgraded chassis?
By upgraded I mean full metal running gear and hull strengthening using DKLM and AFV upgrades to include the additional weight they provide.
TIA,
Barry

If you've got metal hull tracks and wheels you wouldn't want to consider the dklm metal fears for

I am not sure I understand what you are telling me. Are you saying I should not use the Leo gear box?
Thanks,
Barry

Re: Tamiya Eectronics
If the leopard gearbox fits go for it but with all the extra metal bits you've got it might be worth investing in the metal gears dklm make for the leopard gearbox, these replace those most prone to damage.BarryC wrote:Tom,tomhugill wrote:If you've got metal hull tracks and wheels you wouldn't want to consider the dklm metal fears for

Re: Tamiya Eectronics
Hi Tom,
Thanks again for your advise.
The gears you suggest were out of stock when I ordered the other items but it is my intention to get them.
Cheers,
Barry
