I did but that's not the reason. I found that with the new bigger modern tanks (ZTZ, Chally, Leo, M1) the hull tend to flex when you put on heavy metal gearboxes like PDSGB, as well as metal tracks and metal road wheels etc. I don't have an M1, but I got a cast metal lower for my Leo, resin the lower with my Chally and ZTZ. The new T-90 doesn't seem to have the same problem but I think it is mostly because it is a much smaller tank, like WWII ones.

Well I filed down the stems and also removed the little plastic walls between the stems and the screw mount and used some Milliput putty as like a mounting base, stuck a couple of Tamiya circular beams in there, when the putty has solidified I will put some holes in them as the new screw mounts. Will see how that goes. I wish it would hurry up and set though I received my new control board the other day, so I have to fit as well as the motor and new tracks. I had to re-order my new 360 turret ring as well as I ordered the wrong one :/
