T49 tracks and HL Sherman

Will T49 tracks fit on a stock HL Sherman? By the way, i dont own a sherman or the tracks at the moment. Just wanna know in advance

They wI'll but would suggest to upgrade the gears as you get the idler wheels and drive sprockets with the track

should i do that because the track`s extra weight?

My H/L Sherman came with those tracks fitted , so yes , they will fit.
Upgrading the stock gears to black metal is a given as the plastic or pot metal ones wont last long.

Crikeys mate , I got it a couple Christmases ago from one of our Australian dealers , who unfortunately , no longer stock Shermans.
The tracks I mean , the metal gearboxes are everywhere.
Check out both , ozarmour.com and tankarmy.com.
Both have a large amount of spare parts.
