Air soft improvement ?

I read on a HL/Taigen Group that the performance of the air soft unit can be improved by covering/blocking a hole somewhere in the mechanism.

One guy said that the BBs in his tank would make a dent in an aluminium drink can !

Does anyone have details of this ?

Painless has suggested (on related threads) getting hold of the VSTank gun, as many people have attested to it's superiority over the HL/Taigen model, or the one fitted to 1/24 scale Marui tanks. Again these are said to outstrip the HL/Taigen lot. Despite the scale difference, I believe they still fire the same 6mm BBs.
Elsewhere, on Youtube, I've seen people fitting beefed-up springs to the airsoft unit; this is where the real power comes from.
