I'm interested to see how you go with this Carl. You've got two speakers there, do they duplicate the same sound channel, does it run stereo audio, or are there separate sound channels?

Re: Beier sound card into Taigen Tiger 1 does go !
I will go very carefully with this setup over the weekend. I started to watch the tutorials and have a good idea on how it goes....
Not sure on what sounds I will use yet. It's actually pretty interesting stuff.
I bought the two speakers to check them out. I'm just going to to run one with this they are fr7 s 8ohm speakers that are very nice.
The enclosures are very nice but a bit too large for your typical setup. I cut one down last night to make it fit.
Once I make some progress I'll post photos and a video

Some of the battle sounds are accessed before you fire up the engine (left and right on both sticks).
If I had known how good these units were a few months ago I would have bought all Torro tanks and used the Beiers in them - no need to ditch the Torro board or the radio.

So about 50 euro more than an Ibu 2...Looking forward to Carl's review of this board. Be interesting to see if it's worth the extra.

hey Tiger, the board sounds a great idea if you don't want to buy aftermarket tx and rx's. I just want to see if the 160 euro price tag is worth it considering Carl already has the aftermarket tx rx and could go for any board on the market in that price bracket. As its basically a sound board be nice to hear Carls view compared to his other boards.

Re: Beier sound card into Taigen Tiger 1 does go !
It's funny I'm in the middle of several projects right now and I'm assembling different types of electronics this will be quite interesting since I've never attempted it before and that's why I purchase the whole set as Paul recommended
right now the unit that is in the tank is in Australia rc5hl with a standard rx18 they say it should work if it doesn't then I'll have to go with it taigan board and remote
I have my fingers crossed that it will work I would like to utilize the hobby grade radio that I have but if I don't that's fine because I can sacrifice it for these sounds
