Okay I will go first. I decided that I will just submit every other month when Tom is not allow to submit.......
. So here it is. Junckenburg Maus kit, modded with metal parts from MK Modellbau including hatches, periscopes and barrel. RC with Clark board, TARR smoker and plastic Heng Long KT running gears (sprockets and tracks only as I have to use the resin bogies, all 48 of them with new metal axles to make them operational). Paint and finishing as always done by dgsselkirk. For your consideration.

An impressive achievement, Michael.
Love the detailing, especially the welds and joints. I'd like to see it in daylight, to appreciate its lines better; but it's still a knockout.

Good evening folks!
Lets use the February TOTM Discussion thread for road wheel kicking of the submitted tanks, please. Michael, kind of keep these to six of your best photos, sir. We want to have the groupings moderately sized in case we ever have large numbers of submissions. Thanks again, all. ;o)

This is my entry
Heng Long Challenger 2 modelled on the second gun tank of the 3rd troop, belonging to B squadron of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards during it’s operation debut in early 2000 in the Kosovo conflict. Even though the Challenger 2 tank entered service in 1998, by 2000 in combat conditions it needed armour improvements. Here is it fitted out with the Dorchester Level2 armour upgrade pack, which is passive add on armour instead of the side skirts.
The model is extensively changed from the original. It now has DKLM metal chassis, wheels and tracks the road wheels and tracks both have rubber tyres/pads. DKLM propulsion drive gearbox and 50T rock crawler drive motor, DKLM servo recoil and elevation. The rear end is scratch built using original accessories and 3D printed parts. Inside the tank there is a IBU3, RC Tank Electronics servo traverse, LED flash, fibre optic installed to have functioning second machine gun, rotating orange beacon, and FRS8 speaker.
