Clark and TARR with Taigen 2.4 radio
Am I right in thinking that, if I get a Clark tk24 board and a TARR mk3 or 4 smoker that even with the stock Taigen 2.4 radio, I will still get proportional smoke, drive, turret rotation and separate gun barrel up and down movement, neutral gear and two machine guns? Or would I need to upgrade my radio?

You need another radio.
My RC tanks website, loads of free info for everybody:

Not quite, the Taigen receiver (rx) is built into the MFU and uses Taigen's own protocol. The Clark board has no receiver built in so you can plug in any 4+ channel receiver (and matching radio). To run the Clark, then, you need a separate radio/receiver (Tx/Rx) set as your Taigen radio/receiver/MFU is redundant as far as the Clark board is concerned.lifeofbrian wrote:Am I right in thinking that, if I get a Clark tk24 board and a TARR mk3 or 4 smoker that even with the stock Taigen 2.4 radio, I will still get proportional smoke, drive, turret rotation and separate gun barrel up and down movement, neutral gear and two machine guns?
