Hi Much better to buy a Clark board or IBU base unit, both of these will run a tank and have all the sounds and functions . you may blow a 12amp sabretooth ,IBU will take up to 20amps ,think the Clark board is the same. Its easy to go above 12amps with a tank when running of road, Get a stone in one of the tracks it will stall the motor which could easy go over 12amps. If you just want to drive a tank and not have sounds a Tamiya T01 is much better than a Sabretooth (last one I bought cost me £25 on ebay) they are hard to find.

Thanks Pete..I do have all the sounds running though a TBS so the Saber will also route though that. Saber has peak 25 amp and a safety cut off
in case of overload.
