How do HL gearboxes / third-party gearboxes made for a HL KT fit in a Tamiya KT hull? Do the hull walls / lower glacis plate interfere with the physical dimensions? I have an old Tamiya KT that I'm slowly refurbishing and have my eyes on a metal gear 3:1 gearbox made for a HL KT.
Does it physically fit inside the Tamiya hull? Would I need to re-drill mounting holes?

Do the Tamiya tracks work with HL sprockets?
