When I get home would you like some pics of my Jagdtiger wiring?

There has to be a way to make it work.
Im still concerned that I will have no fire sound after all this, but thats not the end of the world.
As another wise member recently said................Im not letting a damn toy tank beat me.
Not sure it will help mate, but I appreciate the offer.jackalope wrote:Not sure how wise that quote is.![]()

Can you crank up some Gloria Marsch Dorothee? And refocus your energy on this pesky little control board.....HERMAN BIX wrote:Not sure it will help mate, but I appreciate the offer.jackalope wrote:Not sure how wise that quote is.![]()

I still have the Taigen Tiger here, and I got the thing fully functional when it was connected into that, so its not the unit.
Has to be a way, I just have to keep the faith until all options are exhausted.
It has wounded me though...............................
Good call mate and certainly an option, but as I'm using the Taigen recoil unit as plenty have before, I believe the problem would remain.c.rainford73 wrote:Herman if you don't sort out the wiring and you are determined to use the new Heng Long setup it might be easier and faster to buy a cheap complete new tank with the latest radio and rx18 and remove the bits and transfer them to your jagdtiger. I purchased one with free shipping for less than $90.00 US with this end in mind

Still working through this, but the MG fire sound works off the Tx unit. if you mean an LED red display then its no need as Im fitting an Aber brass one.Raminator wrote:Okay, I think I've figured out how you need to pin these out. Using this photo as a reference, it looks like the topmost 2-pin plug should be for the elevation motor, the next 2-pin plug should be empty (it'd be turret rotation), the bottom 2-pin plug should be for the recoil motor, and the 3-pin plug will be for the headlights and machinegun.HERMAN BIX wrote:Yip, same as mine but I dont need the rotation.
I really did believe that having the complete set up of trans, rec, socket and cable would give me life, but no.
Pic shows the way the black-black-red wires taken out of the plug & placed independently.
The 2-pin socket above the black wire gives me elevation but uncontrolled from the transmitter.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think the positive and negative on the elevation motor should match up with the red and black wires in the 8-pin plug and the positive and negative on the recoil motor should match up with the green and brown in the 8-pin plug. It'd be best to confirm the signal and polarity with a multimeter beforehand if you can, but I think if you remove the white wire from between the two motors and run a new separate (red) wire from the appropriate terminal on the green motor that should give you the connections you need to use the Taigen unit with the new Heng Long MFU.
