Re: Speeker
Adrian, Hi when you were ordering the recoil kit did you look at what else was on---
http://www.rctankelectronics.com
I ask because if you did you would know that Ian (TANKBEAR) sells the IBU2 control board and if you buy the IBU2 PRO with TPA it includes a Pair of FRS Speakers in the package and your Tank would then have probably the best all round r/c control system out there,
As to Primer, German Armour of 1939--1945 used a matte red primer and because it is both cheap and effective I buy a large Rattle can of acrylic red primer from a car accessory shop "Simoniz Red Oxide Primer 500ml" It costs about £6 and will last for more than 1 Tank whereas Tamiya red primer comes in a much smaller rattle can for twice the price,
Once it is dry any Acrylic paint will leave you with a decent finish whether it is airbrushed or spray can painted.
Just remember to wipe the whole of the Tank over with Acrylic Thinners to get rid of grease and finger marks before putting on the primer.
Any Metal upgrades will need to be painted with a Metal Primer first before the Red Oxide.
Shaun.

Re: Speeker
Thanks for that Shaun. I did order some bits from there but I can not remember what. And I must say that Tankbear is a top guy. I was online and a bit drunk. Tha following morning I was not sure if I'd orderd anything whilst drunk so I emailed Tankbear and had a nice email reply telling me I had not bought drunk.LOL
