cheap and cheerful 2.4g...

I've always used Planet T5's for my 2.4g set ups but as these are now discontinued, I thought I'd look for an alternative...
Found these on e-bay....no bells or whistles...no flashy colours...just simple to set up and easy to use...got them on my DBC's and IBU2...working perfectly...all for 23 quid....

Hi Frank I have a few of these radios they are 6 full channels , bought 4 of them one is used as spares ,removed the return springs from it and made three with self centring sticks, also gives you an extra receiver, which is handy these are also cheap , you can bind ten (I think to one transmitter) Most I have is 4 on one transmitter. So these are a good unit to use very versatile I use it on my Dragon Wagon which uses 4 channels on the truck and two channels on the trailer with two receivers ,so I drop the trailer and leave it without having to disconnect the trailer electrics.
If you setup your tanks the same with the IBU it is very easy to swop to another tank if you buy another model just have to setup te new model the same as your others.Have never had a problem using these no run aways or range problems, also easy to fit fire buttons to them.

I've got one of those in a cupboard somewhere, good cheap radio. I have since bought the programmable Flysky, which isn't a lot more, but has a digital screen, and a very easy to use system to change the configuration. I have about six tanks linked to that one, and can select the tank from the screen, so can have a different set up for each tank. Being able to change the throttle curve means that a tank can be made to pull away slowly, have a top speed limiter etc.

It's quite staggering how cheap a tx is nowadays, they used to cost hundreds, and didn't do half as much.

Hi I Think the bit of chinglish is about the receiver having a long ariel so it can pick up the signal.
