jagdpanther schurzen

hi have just bought a h/l jagdpanther has anybody made schurzen for it and what is the best way to do it

Welshdragon models do a set (although its currently out of stock but on order) for £24, dunno if thats of any interest?

Hi Chris,

The HL jagdpanther already has the schurzen rail on the hull sides.
All you need to do is fit some hangers to the rail and make the schurzen out of styrene.

thanks for the info lads can you tell me do the schurzen plates overlap each other or are they just side by side i was looking on a model site that sell them it showed they were overlapping didnt look right to me

Hi,

The ones from Welsh Dragon do overlap and having looked at a lot of photos and diagrams I think the real ones overlapped as well. The skirts look nice when the vehicle is static however they are made of plastic and light, therfore they tend to come off easily when moving cross country. I'm now working on a set of skirts made from brass using the Welsh Dragon brackets.
