Good news. After another 4 hours in A&E the other foot is fine, just suffering from all the extra stress of doing the work of both feet. Should see the orthopedic surgeon on Friday so lots of rest until then (for her - for me not so much!).

Alwyn glad to hear that you have had some good news! Maybe this is the opportunity to bond with her and possibly involve the Mrs in your design and development in future builds and that 3D printer.....

It's an interesting idea but it conjures up an image of a kitten given a ball of wool, entertaining but Messy! Unfortunately my nearest and dearest has about the same grasp of technology as my pet labradoodle and considerably less enthusiasm than he has, so I think I will leave her to manage the TV remote in a reclining armchair and continue with my chores.
